Whiskers & Wags was built with purpose.

What started with feeding one hungry cat in Los Corales, Dominican Republic has grown into caring for a colony of nearly 30 feral cats — providing food, medical care, sterilization, and when possible, loving homes.

This page is where we share their stories — the fragile beginnings, the healing, and the beautiful second chances made possible by your support.

🐾 Every Journey Is Different

Not every rescue story ends with adoption — and that's okay.

Some of the animals we help are social and ready for forever homes. Others are too feral to safely place with families. But being unadoptable does not mean they are forgotten.

We trap, vet, vaccinate, sterilize, and safely release feral cats back into their colony. We continue to feed and monitor them, providing ongoing care so they can live healthy, stable, and protected lives.

Rescue isn't always about rehoming.
Sometimes it's about dignity.
Sometimes it's about protection.
But it is always about love.
